What's good all, I seriously live in the middle of nowhere lol, southeast Indiana to be exact, but it looks like most events happen in WA. my brother recently moved to Seattle so I'm hoping to go to mt. Baker sometime in the 2009-2010 season, I'm a 1st season snowboarder, and basically the only thing remotely near me I ride at is a place called "Perfect north slopes" basically it's a big hill with machine-made snow on it, it's something to ride though, almost always icy, but it's all good, I'm dying for some powder though, but the seasons over so I'll have to wait, hope everyones doing great, keep rocking,

theres some freerunning hotspots in that area. check out americanparkour.com and go to the local forums and you'll find some people to teach you.
